About this Opportunity
Are you passionate about storytelling, photography, or creating meaningful social media content?
We’re looking for creative volunteers to help share the ongoing transformation of two powerful spaces:
The Vandeventer Neighborhood Community Healing & Meditation Garden — where neighbors and veterans come together to grow, learn, and heal.
Veteran Women of Influence Transitional Home — a sanctuary being restored after a devastating fire, soon to house and empower women veterans on their next chapter.
What You’ll Do:
-
Capture short videos and photos of the garden, events, or renovation updates
-
Write engaging captions to show our progress and inspire community support
-
Help schedule and post updates across LinkedIn,Facebook, Instagram and TikTok (also which ever social media you use)
-
Option to assist with editing, Canva design, or short-form reels
Perfect For:
-
Students, freelancers, or aspiring influencers
-
Videographers, photographers, or digital creatives wanting to build a portfolio
-
Volunteers interested in wellness, veterans’ empowerment, or urban renewal
Why You’ll Love It:
Your creativity will help our mission come alive online.
This is your opportunity to use your voice and vision to uplift a story of perseverance, beauty, and transformation — while gaining valuable content creation experience that looks great on your resume.
