Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of female military veterans? Join us at Veteran Women of Influence, a transitional home and leadership incubator located in the heart of St. Louis City's Vandeventer Neighborhood.

Weโ€™re offering hands-on internship opportunities for passionate students, recent grads, and changemakers who want to grow their skills while uplifting the women whoโ€™ve served our country.

๐Ÿ’ผ Internship Focus Areas

We're seeking motivated individuals with skills or interest in the following areas:

  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Administrative Support: Help keep daily operations running smoothlyโ€”scheduling, data entry, organizing files, and maintaining program records.

  • โš–๏ธ Legal Support & Legacy Planning:
    Work with our leadership team to:

    • Research best practices for nonprofit endowments and planned giving

    • Assist with donor bequests, estate gift documentation, and basic policy development

    • Help draft letters, acknowledgments, and agreements related to legal and financial contributions
      Ideal for students in pre-law, paralegal programs, or nonprofit law.

  • ๐Ÿ“ Grant Writing: Support our fundraising efforts by identifying grant opportunities, gathering documentation, and assisting in writing compelling proposals.

  • ๐Ÿ“ฑ Social Media & Marketing: Create engaging content, manage posting schedules, and help us grow our online community through storytelling and visual branding.

  • ๐ŸŽ‰ Event Planning: Help coordinate community events, donor luncheons, wellness workshops, and fundraising pop-ups.

  • ๐ŸŒฟ Urban Planning & Garden Design: Assist with layouts, site improvements, and placemaking projects for our Healing & Meditation Garden.

  • ๐ŸŒณ Landscaping & Beautification: Help maintain the aesthetic and natural health of our outdoor spaces through hands-on work and seasonal planning.

  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Nonprofit Management: Learn the ins and outs of running a small nonprofit—operations, board development, strategic planning, and more.

  • ๐Ÿ” Research & Program Development: Investigate best practices in veteran support, transitional housing, entrepreneurship, and health equity.

  • ๐Ÿ“ข Volunteer & Board Recruitment: Assist in outreach efforts to find passionate volunteers and mission-aligned board members.
