About this Opportunity

Bring our garden’s Little Free Library to life through the power of storytelling! Volunteers will record themselves reading short excerpts from books available in our garden library. No need to show your face—just your warm, expressive voice and the pages of the book as you read.

These short videos will be shared on our social media to inspire literacy, joy, and healing.

Volunteer Tasks:

  • Select a book from the Little Free Library (or your own)

  • Record 1–2 minute videos reading short excerpts

  • Film the pages as you read (smartphone format)

  • Submit your recordings to be featured on our social media

Skills / Interests:

  • Clear and expressive speaking voice

  • Comfort recording short videos

  • Passion for literacy, art, and storytelling

Time Commitment:

Flexible—1–2 hours per week or as your schedule allows

Why Volunteers Are Needed:

Your voice can touch lives! These readings help connect neighbors, children, and veterans to the beauty of words, mindfulness, and our garden’s mission of healing and creativity.
