About this Opportunity
Join us in honoring our nationβs heroes by helping install and remove American flags throughout the Vandeventer Neighborhood Community Healing & Meditation Garden. Volunteers place flags along pathways and flower beds to celebrate USA national holidays and show respect for our veterans and community members who served.

Volunteer Tasks:

Install and remove flags throughout the garden

Clean and prep flagpoles for each holiday

Help set up reflection areas (benches, flowers, signage)

Photograph displays for community archives and social media

Light garden clean up (remove litter/debris)
Why Volunteers Are Needed:
These events create a visible tribute to military service and unite neighbors in gratitude. Volunteers help maintain the beauty and dignity of the garden.
Time Commitment:
Each activity lasts about 30 minutes, usually in the morning for installation and early evening for removal (not on the same day).
