🌸 Opportunities to Make a Long-Term Impact:

🪴 Adopt-a-Garden (2-Year Commitment Encouraged)

We are seeking businesses, nonprofits, schools, churches, and organizations to adopt one of our 24 garden areas.

As an Adopting Partner, you will:
✔️ Care for your garden section (watering, weeding, light landscaping)
✔️ Replace dead plants and maintain decorative hardware (stones, vases, seating, etc.)
✔️ Visit and tend your area at least twice per month (especially during growing season)
✔️ Be recognized on our Garden Wall and signage within your adopted area
✔️ Be celebrated across our social media, newsletters, and community events

This is an opportunity to build legacy, pride, and visibility—right here in your neighborhood.

🌟 Sponsor the Garden (Flexible Partnership Levels)

Our Garden Sponsors make restoration and growth possible by supporting:

  • Native plants, trees, and flowers

  • Tools and garden equipment

  • Professional landscaping services

  • Pathways, signage, and seating

  • The dry creek bridge and pollinator zones

  • Compost, mulch, and soil deliveries

Sponsors receive recognition on the Garden Wall, at events, and through our print and digital platforms.

🌿 Long-Term Garden Volunteers (No One-Timers, Please)

We are currently only accepting volunteers who can commit to consistent, hands-on support.

🚫 One-time and short-term community service volunteers are no longer sustainable.
✅ Community service hours must total 60+ hours and be pre-approved.
👥 Large groups are welcome for major projects only.

Long-term volunteers help with:

  • Watering and weeding shared areas

  • Supporting seasonal clean-ups

  • Learning and applying our plant care methods

  • Promoting peace and pride through continued service

Time Commitment: 4–5 hours every two weeks

💚 Garden Stewardship Commitment

We ask every adopter, sponsor, and volunteer to show their investment through our Garden Stewardship Commitment:

🌱 Some give their time. Some give their funds. Some give both. But everyone gives something—because the garden deserves that love.

Let’s sow deep roots.
Let’s grow something beautiful.
Let’s make this healing space thrive—together. 🌸

🌤 Garden Access, Restrooms & Sun Safety

Restroom Access:
Please note there are no public restrooms on the garden grounds. Volunteers will only have access to a backyard port-a-potty or indoor restroom when staff is present. We kindly ask that you coordinate your group’s visit with our availability.

Seasonal Volunteer Hours:
To protect our volunteers from heat exhaustion and ensure safe gardening practices, our schedule varies by season:

  • Cool Weather Months (Oct–April):
Garden access is available between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • ☀️ Warm Weather Months (May–Sept):
Garden access is limited to 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM only
(The garden receives full sun after 10:00 AM, and we prioritize sun safety.) *you are more than welcome to work til 12 noon but we advise against it. For this reason, we especially encourage Adopt-a-Garden partnerships, where your group becomes familiar with your specific space and can build rhythm, ownership, and confidence over time — with fewer walk-throughs and check-ins needed.

Thank you for honoring these guidelines as we continue to build a beautiful, safe space together.
