About this Opportunity
The Resource Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in securing the necessary resources, both financial and in-kind, to support the operations and programs.
This position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising:
Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet
annual revenue goals.
Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors,
foundations, and community partners.
Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals.
2. Donor Relations:
Steward existing donors through regular communication,
acknowledgment, and recognition.
Identify and cultivate new donor prospects to expand the donor base.
Provide excellent customer service to donors, ensuring their questions
and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
3. Corporate Partnerships:
Identify and pursue opportunities for corporate partnerships and
sponsorships.
Collaborate with businesses to develop mutually beneficial partnerships,
including cause-related marketing initiatives and employee engagement
opportunities.
4. In-Kind Donations:
Connect with Diaper Drive Coordinator on donation drives and campaigns
to collect essential diapering supplies, including diapers and wipes.
Cultivate relationships with in-kind donors, including individuals,
businesses, and community organizations.
5. Marketing and Communications:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling messaging
and materials to support fundraising efforts.
Utilize various communication channels, including social media, email
newsletters, and website content, to promote fundraising initiatives and
engage supporters.
6. Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising data using donor
management software.
Generate regular reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement,
and campaign effectiveness.
Days/hours: We ask for at least 5 hours a week, Monday-Sunday. Work can be done via
telework or in office.
