About this Opportunity

One way we engage with the community is through diaper drives. A diaper drive is where a business or organization collects diapers on our behalf.

Seeking a volunteer to help with the following duties:

  • Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement strategies for organizing successful diaper drives. Set goals and timelines for the drive, determining the duration and target number of diapers to be collected.
  • Partner Engagement: Identify and establish partnerships with organizations, businesses, schools, and community groups to serve as collection points for diaper donations. Collaborate with these partners to promote the diaper drive and provide them with necessary materials, such as collection boxes and informational flyers.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Create marketing materials, including flyers, social media posts, and press releases, to raise awareness about the diaper drive. Utilize various channels to promote the drive, such as online platforms, local newspapers, radio stations, and community bulletin boards.
  • Donation Collection and Management: Oversee the collection of donated diapers from various drop-off locations. Organize and track the inventory of collected diapers, ensuring accurate record-keeping and appropriate storage.
  • Donor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with donors and collection partners. Express gratitude and provide regular updates on the progress of the diaper drive. Acknowledge donors through thank-you letters, certificates, or other forms of recognition.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the local community to generate support for the diaperdrive. Attend community events, meetings, and gatherings to promote the cause and encourage participation. Build relationships with community leaders, organizations, and influencers to increase the reach and impact of the drive.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Keep records of the diaper drive progress, including the number of diapers collected, volunteers involved, and impact achieved. Prepare reports and share the outcomes with the organization's leadership, stakeholders, and supporters.
  • Follow-up and Continual Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of the diaper drive, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future drives. Seek feedback from volunteers, donors, and partner organizations to enhance the overall experience and impact of the drive.

Days/hours: We ask for at least 5 hours a week, Monday-Sunday. Work can be done via
telework or in office.
