About this Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate youth intern to join our team at the Diaper Bank. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for young individuals interested in community service, nonprofit work, and social impact. As an intern, you will assist in various aspects of our diaper distribution program, gaining valuable experience while contributing to a meaningful cause.

 

 

Responsibilities:


Diaper Sorting and Packaging:
Assist in sorting and packaging diapers for distribution.
Ensure proper organization and labeling of diaper packages.


Inventory Management:
Help manage inventory by recording incoming and outgoing diaper donations.
Assist in maintaining stock levels and organizing storage areas.


Client Services:
Support with client intake and registration during diaper distribution at office.
Provide friendly and respectful assistance to diaper recipients.


Community Outreach:
Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about diaper needs.
Assist in organizing and promoting diaper drives and fundraising events.


Administrative Support:
Help with data entry and record-keeping related to diaper distribution activities.
Assist in responding to inquiries via phone, email, or social media.

Qualifications:

Passion for Service: Genuine interest in making a positive impact in the community.
Reliability: Ability to commit to a consistent schedule and fulfill responsibilities.
Team Player: Works well in a team environment and can collaborate effectively.
Detail-Oriented: Capable of following instructions and maintaining accuracy in tasks.
Good Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting with diverse populations.

Requirements:
Students will be supervised at all times by an adult.
Age requirement: 15+
Commitment: 3-9 hours a week.
Availability: The office is open Monday/Wednesday/Friday 11:30-2:30
