About this Opportunity
Reach for Resources is a non-profit based out of Minnetonka that supports over 1,300 individuals annually all over Minnesota through programs such as Adaptive Recreation & Inclusion, Case Management, Counseling, Employment, Housing Supports, Independent Living Supports, and Mental Health Services.
The committee will annually review the Strategic Plan, to ensure that it is achievable, in line with the vision of the organization, and contains goals that specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based; and review the long-term Financial Plan of the organization to ensure that it is achievable and in line with the Strategic Plan.
Finance
Aid the Finance and Strategy Chair in ensuring the organizations mission and purpose is fulfilled.
Understanding how the organization is financially supported/ capitalized.
Assessing internal and external risk that may have a fiscal impact on the organization.
Monitor and recommend financial efficiency.
Assist the Chair in providing financial guidance to the Board.
Assessing and recommending proper procedures to protect the organizations resources.
Monitoring the budgeting process to ensure reasonable assumptions are aligned with the organizations goals.
Review and make recommendations regarding other Committees new projects and expenditures, with respect to financial planning.
Strategy
Assist the Chair and Committee in establishing strategic goals by:
o Review guardrails for Managements financial decision-making authority.
o Reviewing Managements resources and skills to facilitate organizations internal controls.
Oversee and discuss with Management the organizations progress and implementation of their strategic plan.
General
Notice for meetings will be provided in advance.
Meetings will take place via video, telephone, or in person as deemed appropriate.
Review and amend Committees procedures & charter and submit to Board.
Review and make recommendations to the Board
