Low-income patients need specialty care, too Volunteer medical specialists treat patients with conditions related to the provider's particular specialty (ie gynecology, podiatry, cardiology, etc) By treating specialty conditions, patients receive the best possible care for their medical concerns Scheduling is based on provider availability and can be monthly or bi-monthly | Volunteers must have an unrestricted Iowa license, professional malpractice insurance or become a participant in the Volunteer Health Care Provider Program through the Iowa Department of Public Health
