Volunteers needed to provide companionship to Agrace Patients in Long-Term Facilities

Volunteers will provide companionship to patients living in Long-Term Care Facilities (i.e. Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities). Volunteers will help support our patients and families by providing companionship to patients, running errands, reading to patients, providing transportation, feeding patients, or providing a quiet caring presence. We serve patients all throughout south central Wisconsin, so volunteers can choose to visit patients who live in their own community.

The requirements for this volunteer position include the following: Completion of the application process, complete a 1-hour virtual orientation and a 1-hour virtual home care training. Volunteer must be at least 16 years of age and will require background checks,a 2-step TB test and yearly TB screening.
