The Lubbock Roots Historical Arts Council seeks to enrich livesin our community by promoting a greater understanding of the African American experience through the arts and through the study, interpretation and preservation of the history of African Americans.We can't do it without your help!

Please consider helping us with the following opportunities:

Administrative help:

We need help with various operational tasks, such as assist with taking minutes at our monthly meetings and helping with communication

IT help:

We need help updating and maintaining our Roots website.

Grant writing:

We need help writing grants for various funding opportunities throughout the year.

Booker T. Washington Community Garden:

We need help maintaining this wonderful garden.
