Take photos of plants and animals at Bull's Run Arboretum in Middletown

We are using the free iNaturalist app to gather data on the various species of plants and animals living at Bull's Run. All you need is your phone and the app. Then, take close up pictures using the app and it will directly input them into our project.

The newest release of iNaturalist makes suggestions for the species you are submitting, helping to assess the life in the park. We use the data you collect to figure out if there are critters or plants living there that need extra protection, or if there are invasives that we need to work on clearing out.

Our BioBlitz runs all September and October. You can visit the arboretum anytime from dawn til dusk. There is a trail map at the entrance.
