Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sponsorship Outreach Lead to join our team on a volunteer basis. This remote role is ideal for individuals with a passion for community engagement and a knack for building relationships. As a Sponsorship Outreach Lead, you will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, and securing partnerships with organizations and individuals who align with our mission, helping to secure the vital resources needed to expand our programs and reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential corporate, foundation, and individual sponsors whose values align with SelfSoulLiberate's mission.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage potential sponsors, including crafting compelling proposals and presentations.
- Initiate and manage communication with prospective sponsors, nurturing relationships through various channels (email, phone, virtual meetings).
- Collaborate with the marketing and event planning teams to create attractive sponsorship packages and promotional opportunities.
- Track and report on all sponsorship outreach activities, maintaining an organized database of contacts and progress.
- Assist in the negotiation and finalization of sponsorship agreements.
- Represent SelfSoulLiberate professionally in all interactions with potential sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, fundraising, business development, or a related field, with a focus on outreach and relationship building.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and track progress effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Volunteers should be available to work within a U.S. time zone for effective collaboration.
