If you're the kind of person who likes to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and well taken care of then this might be the right position for you. Imaging Services volunteers help to check patients in to the department and escort them to the various areas within Imaging Services that they need to go to. In between helping patients and families, you will help the office staff with a variety of filing, organization and clean up tasks that will help the department run at its most effective and efficient. This is an excellent opportunity for any person who is interested in becoming an sonographer or radiologic technician as you will get to see up close personal how a busy Imaging department works.

Qualifications:

Volunteers in this assignment must:

1. Be friendly, customer service oriented individuals

2. Possess the ability to walk distances and push wheelchairs

3. Interest in pursuing a career in sonography or radiologic technology is a plus.
