Many individuals in the eastern Iowa community cannot afford to go to a dentist. His Hands installed a BRAND NEW, two-operatory dental unit in February 2012 We currently have over 100 names on our wait list Over 50% of those waiting for care report agonizing dental pain YOU CAN HELP Dentists volunteering for 3 hours, once a month, can assist up to 48 patients a year Those are patient who would otherwise have no access to dental care Volunteering is easy and fun Our operatories contain new equipment, are well-maintained, and are fully digital Bring your own assistant, or we can find someone to volunteer with you - your choice And while we are limited in the number of services we can offer to patients, you can be assured that every patient you see will be eager and grateful Contact our Dental Coordinator, Shelly, for other ways to participate - there are ways to help without even leaving your office! Help us give the people in our community new smiles - and a new lease on life | Volunteers must have an unrestricted Iowa license, professional malpractice insurance or become a participant in the Volunteer Health Care Provider Program through the Iowa Department of Public Health
