About this Opportunity
Thank you for your interest in us! Empowering the Masses is a Christian, faith-based organization that aims to use our model of Education + Advocacy = Empowerment in order to provide the resources that allow communities to be self-sustaining. We are currently accepting volunteers for our community market and drive-thru food pantry located at 3220 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX 75223.
Friday Volunteer Shift:
Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Need: 10-30 volunteers
Activities: Volunteers on Fridays assist with unloading our distribution truck and packaging food for the Saturday distribution.
What to Wear:
- Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toed shoes (non-slip if possible) . There isn't any room for personal items, so please pack sparingly.
Parking:
- Please aim to arrive at the start of your respective shift
- Park at the rear section of our Community Market parking lot or around our drive-through area.
- As parking space is limited, I encourage carpooling whenever feasible. Samuell Grand Park also has public parking for overflow and later arrivals.
Thank you once again for your dedication to making a difference. We appreciate your support, and we look forward to hearing from you!
