About this Opportunity

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are seeking volunteers fluent in both Spanish and English for this role.

As an Entryway Greeter, you will be responsible for ensuring a friendly welcome for new and returning neighbors as they come to receive services. You may also help neighbors with same-day shopping at The Market, assist with record keeping of neighbors visiting, and other tasks as needed by the FTB Navigators.

An ideal volunteer for this role would be someone who is comfortable working directly with neighbors and confident working independently. We are looking for volunteers who have a welcoming attitude, are good listeners, and have a friendly demeanor. All training is provided onsite, however this is a very front-facing volunteer position.

BEFORE ARRIVING
ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for warehouse safety. Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer. Appropriate attire includes shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops or crop-tops), and jeans or shorts of appropriate length.
