Kehilat Food Pantry Weekday PM Distribution

Kehilat Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to help distribute food via the pantry's distribution line in an effort to help fight food insecurity in the Greater Queens community.  Volunteers will assist in handling a broad range of kosher products and assorted goods for distribution to the pantry’s clients.  Other duties include packing and sorting, as well as client management. Volunteers will be operating outdoors and should dress appropriately for the weather.  For more information, please visit www.kehilatpantry.org 

Volunteers will assist in handling a broad range of kosher products and assorted goods.  The pantry serves a diverse population, so proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese is helpful (but not required). Volunteers will be operating outdoors and should dress appropriately.  Some lifting of around 10-20 lbs may be required as well.
