Chester Family YMCA Playground Build

KaBoom has awarded the Chester Family YMCA  a playground and we need to secure volunteers to help build it. The children at the Chester Y even got to help design it.

Brief Organizational Description: The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. As a nonprofit, we are committed to making our community a better place to live, work and play

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Help to build the playground. Giving the children a new,fun and safe playground to enjoy helping them to build a healthy spirit, mind and body. 

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Following plans and directions from the lead volunteers on building the playground. It will be complected that day. 

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
Work is available for volunteers of all level of skill and ability

Time Commitment:
8 a.m. - 3 p.m. You can volunteer the whole day or part of the day.

Other Information (if applicable):

• Lunch, snacks and bottled water will be provided
• Gloves and other safety materials will be provided for the projects that require them.
• Orientation will be at the beginning
• Project will happen rain or shine. Please come dressed for the weather.  Closed toed shoes are required.

• Please note-All youth under the legal working age for VA will no be able to participate.
