Hair Stylist - Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Rutherford County

This is such a simple way for hair stylists to really make someone's day!  Our patients are thrilled to hear that someone will come to their home to cut or style their hair!!  Please consider being that person.  Hospice patients who are bedbound or homebound request haircut/style as they are no longer able to get into a salon.  The goal is for a volunteer who is licensed as a hair dresser to provide haircut/style service to our patients either in the patient's home, nursing home or assisted facility. 

Patient needs will be communicated to the volunteer from Alive Hospice Volunteer Services staff.  Volunteers must be licensed hairdressers with a valid driver's license and be willing to complete screening, including a background check and driving record check.  Completion of focused orientation with Volunteer Services staff member will be necessary prior to patient visits.
