Summer Tech On Tap (Metro East) Media Volunteer

We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Media Intern (aka Content Creator) to help our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build your professional portfolio while making a meaningful impact on our community. The intern will be responsible for photographing and/or recording important nonprofit events and ceremonies, and providing either raw or professionally finished content to the organization. This content will be used to improve the image and visibility of TechSTL events. Previous experience in media production is a plus, but not required.

Once an event is scheduled, we will contact volunteers with details. Once checked into the event, you will meet with our impact team for access to our media dump folder. After that, just enjoy! Photograph and record the event, feel free to interview attendees about the experience.

Tech on Tap STL is a free monthly meetup for the St. Louis tech community with now two venues, St. Louis and Metro East Illinois!

Metro East

Join us on the Fourth Tuesday of the month at the East St. Louis location, which is the Old Herald Brewery & Distillery in Collinsville from 5:30 - 7:00 PM for networking over local beers and tasty food. We host a local speaker each month to talk about leading trends or career opportunities in the tech ecosystem.
