Online English Language Teacher

We've launched an Online Campus at Begin Anew! Do you have access to a computer, internet, and an hour each week to meet with a student? Do you enjoy helping students learn? Begin Anew is a faith-based education program working to empower individuals to overcome obstacles created by poverty. We provide High School Equivalency test prep, English Language Learner, and Computer and Job skills classes to adults, as well as mentoring and access to resources.

ELL Teachers will:

• Provide effective instruction in English to a group of students at beginner, intermediate or advanced level using provided online platform.
• Develop relationships with students.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and statement of faith of Begin Anew

Previous teaching experience is helpful, but not required. We are just looking for a willingness to serve and a desire to help others achieve their goals. We ask that volunteers commit to one 1-hour shift each week for an entire semester. This position requires volunteers to complete an application and pass a background check. Training and resources will by provided by the Program Manager.
