Sound Generations promotes the social, emotional, and physical well-being of older adults through a network of community connections and services. We envision a just society where aging adults and those who care about them can live their best lives. Since 1967, Sound Generations has been the leading community resource in Washington State for seniors, their families, and caregivers. Sound Generations has been a United Way partner agency since 1967.

Mission Statement

Sound Generations gives older adults the support and assistance they need to remain healthy, safe, and socially connected through a network of compassionate and caring staff, award-winning programs and specially-designed services that reach every corner of King County. Our programs include: Caregiver Outreach & Support, Food Security (Community Dining, Meals on Wheels, Mobile Market), Minor Home Repair, Pathways Information & Assistance, Senior Rights Assistance, Statewide Health Insurance Benefit Advisors (SHIBA), Adult Day Health, Fitness (EnhanceFitness & Enhance Wellness), and Volunteer Transportation. We have senior centers in Seattle, Southeast Seattle, Ballard, Shoreline, Carnation, and Central Seattle.
