Just as its name implies,FamilyCoreunderstands that strong families, equipped with the right balance of resources and tools to succeed, are at the heart of any vibrant, tight-knit community.

FamilyCore(previously known as Counseling & Family Services) employs over 90 individuals that work with schools, the court system, and other social service agencies to connect counseling, intervention, preventative education, and other support services with those who have a need.FamilyCoretakes a holistic approach in its continuum of care, often providing boosts of support to multiple generations. The end goal is to maintain the integrity of family, however it may be defined.

FamilyCorehas been serving the Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties for 123 years in Strengthening Families for a Stronger Community. This is done through our many services including Adoption, Child Welfare, Counseling, Single Parent Support, and Youth Outreach. Last year alone,FamilyCoretouched over 15,806 lives in the area.
