Center for Enriched Living

CEL is a non-profit organization that provides valuable programs and services for teens, adults and seniors with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). CEL provides social programs 7-days a week that foster friendships, paid employment that matches their skills and interests, REACH and Catalyst Adult Day Programs, and mental health resources. Annually, our programs support over 400 individuals from 55 different Chicagoland communities.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help support our social and recreational programs, as well as our adult day programs. One-time event opportunities are also available on an occasional basis. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. In order to provide consistency for members, we kindly ask that volunteers commit to volunteering weekly, bi-weekly or a few times per month throughout the duration of the session. Your involvement can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
