About
The National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) serves as a clearinghouse of the best up-to-date information on Down syndrome and the issues that effect the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families. The Down Syndrome News (DSN) is the journal of the National Down Syndrome Congress and brings up-to-date information on Down syndrome and topics of interest to individuals and families six (6)times a year. The NDSC annual convention provides an intense educational and networking experience for all who attend. Attendees receive three days of the best and most current information on Down syndrome and related programming, and have the opportunity to make and renew friendships with countless other families. The NDSC also co-sponsors international conventions. The NDSC coordinates a local parent group network who in turn support individuals and families in their local communities. The NDSC is the major advocate for people with Down syndrome.
